Hydrant Flushing 2024

The City of Miramichi Public Works Department wishes to advise businesses and residents that they will be flushing water lines from June 10th, 2024 to July 12th, 2024 in the former Town of Chatham, the former Village of Douglastown, and in the area known as SkyPark (former CFB Chatham).
Flushing will occur between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. 
This flushing is part of routine operation and maintenance of the water distribution system.
Residents may temporarily experience some discolouration in the water or decrease in water pressure while this work is being completed. 
Residents of these affected areas will be notified on a regular basis of the specific dates when flushing will occur in their area.
The Public Works Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
