City of Miramichi
All dog owners residing within the City of Miramichi are required to register their dogs annually. Registration ensures compliance with city regulations and helps maintain a safe and responsible pet ownership community.
As per By-Law 8 - Respecting Animal Control, all dogs residing in the City of Miramichi must be registered annually. Dog tags are valid annually from January to December. Renewal letters are sent to registered dog owners each December.
Online Registration: Register your dog online at the form below and pick up your dog tags and registration the next business day at City Hall.
In-Person Registration: Visit the Miramichi City Police Station (1820 Water St., Miramichi) or City Hall (141 Henry St., Miramichi) to register your dog and receive your tags immediately.
