The Miramichi Police has an online process for individuals who need a criminal record check. This new process will allow you to request a criminal record check 24 hours a day without having to come to our office.
All aspects of the application process, including identity verification and payment, are handled electronically. If no follow-up is required, your completed criminal record check will be emailed to you within 7 business days.
ONLINE CRIMINAL RECORD CHECKS
The online criminal record check is only applicable to applicants who reside within the Miramichi Police area.
Non-Volunteer Applications – Online applications require a service fee, with an additional fee of $35.00
Volunteer Applications – Online applications require a service fee with NO additional fee

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING
You CANNOT apply on behalf of another person. Authentication questions will be based on the applicant’s personal credit file, and the questions are timed to ensure a prompt response and to further enhance security and privacy. Criminal Record Checks are STRICTLY for applicants residing in the City of Miramichi, New Brunswick; but exceptions may apply, please call for details. This process is intended for persons living and working in Canada. If you are living/working outside Canada, you should obtain a police check from the RCMP through the submission of fingerprints.

If for any reason your criminal record check process is not feasible online, you may apply in person, on Monday to Friday, between 8:00AM to 4:00PM
