Rockin' River Festival
For the past 30 years, bellbottoms swayed and Elvis impersonators strutted their stuff as Rock ‘N’ Roll filled the air along the riverbanks of the Miramichi. But even the best vinyl needs a refresh now and then! So, after three decades of rockin’ nostalgia, we’ve decided it’s time to put away the leather jackets and hair spray, and give our beloved festival a bold new beat.
Introducing the Miramichi Rockin’ River Festival!
While we may be saying goodbye to the Rock ‘N’ Roll in name, the heart and soul of the festival remain stronger than ever: community, families, local music, art, culture—and, of course, our famous fireworks display. This exciting rebrand is made possible through a collaboration with the Downtown Newcastle Business District, bringing a renewed energy and fresh vision to this treasured summer tradition.
