The construction of the Miramichi Wellness Complex is underway of Douglastown Boulevard. Here's the latest update:
Current construction at the Multiplex site has focused on the arena that will include:
- 1860 seats
- Viewing area for approximately 300
- 6 team rooms
- NHL-sized ice surface
- Walking track and concession facilities
This arena will have multi-function capabilities such as trade shows, concerts and conferences.

The Miramichi Wellness Multiplex will offer an 1860-seat arena, walking track, double gymnasium, 25m/6 lane competition pool, leisure pool as well as enhanced community spaces - all of which incorporate sustainable design features. It is expected to open in the fall of 2026.
